Wedding Photography Vancouver - From the first RAW shot to the Finished Black and White Portrait

Sometimes capturing the beauty of a spontaneous moment requires a little post-editing. 

The photo below was taken at Steve and Leah's Wedding reception in Langley, BC. Gorgeous couple. Gorgeous photo... except for that unfortunate 2nd shooter photo-bomb and the low light situation we've got going on. How can we salvage this beautiful moment?

 

Photoshop has always been one of the greatest weapons in my arsenal. With a little help from the cropping tool, some shadow and highlight adjustments and exposure enhancements, we now have a beautiful frame-quality photograph. Very happy with the way this one turned out :)
