The icing on this particular cake: My favorite memory of my very best furry friend will be forever immortalized and hopefully downloaded again and again. (You're gonna be famous, Frank!)

Wedding Photography Vancouver - From the first RAW shot to the Finished Black and White Portrait

Sometimes capturing the beauty of a spontaneous moment requires a little post-editing. 

The photo below was taken at Steve and Leah's Wedding reception in Langley, BC. Gorgeous couple. Gorgeous photo... except for that unfortunate 2nd shooter photo-bomb and the low light situation we've got going on. How can we salvage this beautiful moment?

 

Photoshop has always been one of the greatest weapons in my arsenal. With a little help from the cropping tool, some shadow and highlight adjustments and exposure enhancements, we now have a beautiful frame-quality photograph. Very happy with the way this one turned out :)

Jukebox - Delightful Vancouver Printers

Graphic Designers in Vancouver - Have you ever used Jukebox for print jobs? Me neither. So I ordered a sample pack. Very easy! Just had to fill out an online form. It arrived only a few days after I ordered it. And BOY was I impressed...

First thing I noticed was the customized, heavy duty little envelope which held a sleeve of recycled samples plus the  specialty paper samples (with delicious finishes). Didn't manage to get a picture of that sweet, sweet packaging though. I was too eager and I ended up ripping it apart. :( Wouldn't be the first time!

2nd eye catching element: FOIL! Glorious, shiny, hot pink foiling with the wording, "Feel it, love it, print it." I sure did. Sure Do! And I can't wait for my new business cards to come in.

Within HOURS of approving the proof they sent me, they had emailed me saying my print job was nearly finished. WOW. Serious wow. I will enjoy showing this sample pack to my clients. BRAVO, JUKEBOX.

And just for some extra WOW-factor, they have added a color guide so you know what a 100M is going to look on recycled Kraft. Amazeballs.
